Concept Map
This is a concept map that displays information on the food cycle. It was created in Kidspiration and shows all of the appropriate information.
This assignment contributed to my understanding of education technology by introducing me to a child friendly website that I will use in my classroom. Kidspiration was a program that I was not familar with before this assignment and now I know it very well.
This assignment prepared me for teaching with technology because it helped give me a good background on a educational software program that I will teach with. I will be able to help students understand how to navigate the program and how to succesfully create a document.
I will use this technology in my classroom in a similar manor as the document below. I will assign a topic to individual students and have them use Kidspiration to create the appropriate concept map. This program can also be used in younger students why introducing them to the concept of what a concept map is in general.
