Excel
This project involves organizing/sorting data and being able to create a chart or graph from that data. It also includes a word document that has the charts and questions that students can answer from the charts.
This project contributes to my understanding of educational technology because it taugh me how to manage data in excel. It also taught me how to create a graph/chart to represent the data.
This helped prepare me for teaching with techonology because it will help me use technology to manage my tasks as a teacher.
I will use this technology in my classroom to manage grades, scores and other student data that is important to my classroom. Depending on the grade I am working with, I may also use this with students when they are creating reports. I have the ability to teach the students to create graphs and charts if they need to present data in a report or presentation.
