MS Word
Below is an example of a welcome back letter for students and parents. It was created in MS Word. It would imform students and parents of the things that will be happening within the first few weeks of the school year and basically tells the parents a little about myself.
This assignment contributes to my understanding of educational technology because it incorporates different tools within MS Word. It also shows how technology can be used to enhance a basic "welcome" letter and it can be saved to be used as a template in the future.
This assignment helped prepare me for teaching with technology because it showed me how to use the tools in MS Word to create exciting documents.
This will come into play when I am helping students format reports or creating presentations. This also helps give a good template for a way to communicate with parents and students.
