This page includes a file that has evaulations for childrens software and websites. It lists important data about each of these and gives a relavant rating.
This project contributes to my understanding of education technology because it showed me useful tools for evaluating how appropriate and valid both software and websites are for children. It also introduced me to technology that is available for use by children.
This assignment helped prepare me for teaching technology because it showed me the important factors I need to consider when choosing technology to introduce to the children. It's important to consider many different factors when evaluating technology and I also have evaluations on websites and software already for when I start making those choices.
I will use this when I start teaching when choosing what to include in my classroom and into my curriculum.
